Beth and Nate on the shore of Lake George. This photo appeared in a recent ad for the Fort William Henry Resort.

We have been participating in our local "Halloween Pug Parade" for several years now. It has become well-known throughout the Northeast. At right is a publicity photo we took of Maxine and Milo. The portraits we took for the 2008 event are online: Pugs Online.

We enjoyed meeting with those who turned out for the excellent Bridal Show at the Hall of Springs last Sunday. We also met many of you at the Queensbury Hotel show the week before. Thanks for visiting our website. There are many things to read on this page and the archives, but make sure you visit our Weddings page. We'd love to talk to you about your wedding - give us a call at 518 494 9994.

The photo above, which was the big backdrop at our booth, was taken by Nancy outside the house where the bride and her bridesmaids prepared. Curt was getting taking photos at the church at this point.

We did Melissa's wedding three years ago. She recently wrote us since she had misplaced her photo disks. But she found them in her fireproof safe (we still had a copy ourselves), and sent us this note:

"Every time we look through our wedding photos, I always think 'Wow, I don't even remember them taking that picture.' You both did such a wonderful job of essentially being invisible and still getting great shots. The pictures are what I cherish most."

We have always strived to keep our business model ahead of the curve, so we're making a bold change to most of our photo services in 2008: camera files will always be included in the package, and all print files that we create, too. This will improve the proofing process, and will provide an awesome supplement to print purchases - the retouched and enhanced files we use to print them.

Mollie and Brooks were married at the Museum of Dance in Saratoga Springs, and had their reception at the Erlowest Inn on the shores of Lake George. Take a closer look at the this montage.

There's nothing like a cheerful flowergirl to liven up a wedding, even if she is cajoled later to dance with the ringbearer. The reception for this wedding, between a Russell Sage bride and an RPI groom, was at the unique Crooked Lake House east of Troy.

One of these photos was taken in wonderful natural light, the other where the ambient light needed serious help. In fact, these two photos are very different in many ways - a good wedding photographer must be ready for anything!

Karin and Phil were married in Fair Haven, Vermont, and had their reception at the Queensbury Hotel in Glens Falls. We've captured a poignant moment during the Best Man's toast.

This is an example of where the camera is not as important as good lighting equipment and the experience to use it. We can take a photo like this one unobtrusively at a distance because we use radio-controlled strobes.

We've finally had some time to make final touches on the outside of our studio. It sits on a 60-acre plot, threaded by old logging roads. Our house sits a few hundred feet behind. Inside, you'll find a comfortable showroom, office, camera room, changing room, and other rooms for production and storage. Outside, we have developed many interesting spots for portraits.

This is probably the finest photography facility in the Adirondacks.

Nancy and Chuck are skiers who decided to have their marriage near Gore Mountain in North Creek - in January. A timely snowfall allowed for a very white wedding at the beautiful Copperfield Inn.

A snowy wedding seems like a good idea to us. Travel concerns? Have everyone come up for the weekend, as Nancy and Chuck did. Everyone stayed at the Inn and had a great time. Add a honeymoon in the Caribbean....

The stunning fall foliage and beautiful reflections on water are reasons why October weddings have become so popular. Rebecca and John relaxed after their ceremony while we took photos.

A few moments with Heather before her ceremony created a bridal portrait that captured a contemplative moment. The bridal party traveled to the top of Prospect Mountain near Lake George for some scenic group shots. Many times, side trips can produce a stunning background and can introduce a fresh perspective to routine photos.

Kristee and Tom were married aboard the Adirondac on Lake George in miraculous weather. This was our first wedding on a cruise boat, and it was wonderful.

Tamara and Dan, at the Whiteface Club near Lake Placid. A private moment between the bride and groom resulted in this spontaneous photograph.

Annette and Nat's ceremony was held at the picturesque Silver Bay Chapel. After a few photos at the altar, the couple traveled to a private location near Bolton Landing for more photos and a ride in a classic Garwood boat. Their reception was at the Lake George Club, where guests were able to enjoy a cocktail hour on the patio overlooking the lake and a formal dinner inside.

Jessica and her bridesmaids enjoyed the photo session at the Hall of Springs in Saratoga Springs.

Jennifer and Chris' wedding was held in her hometown - and ours - Chestertown. On the way to the Copperfield Inn, we stopped for some misty photos along the Hudson River. Hint: These quick stops are most feasible if only the bride and groom get out of the limo.
