Laurie and Steve celebrate in the afterglow of their wedding on the shore of Lake George, as seen from the Fort William Henry Resort.

Andrea and Adam were married at the fabulous Museum of Dance in Saratoga Springs. Classé Catering did a terrific job, as did one of our favorite DJ's, Tom Sliva, All Around Sound. These images are examples of special treatments that we like to invent.

This reunion photo was taken at 13th Lake. We suggested the beautiful setting of this photo, but the real subject is the family. To balance the lighting, we brought in studio lights and a small quiet generator to power them.

The rainbow was so spectacular that the DJ, Andy Pratt, announced it at the reception. A little well-timed rain can be good! The wedding was held at the Sagamore Resort in Bolton Landing.

The Sagamore Resort offers one of the most spectacular venues for a wedding in our area. Aubrey and Joseph had a great day overlooking Lake George. Stay tuned - we have another wedding at the Sagamore tomorrow.

Laura just reviewed a draft of her album: "I think this is the most beautiful album I have ever seen in my life. I couldn't ask for anything more beautiful. I love the sequence, I love all the pictures ... I cannot wait to see the final album. WOW! It brought tears to my eyes. Thank you, thank you, thank you."

Laura was married in Glens Falls and had her reception at the Fort William Henry in Lake George.

We have been selected to return as official photographers for the North Warren yearbook. The June in-school sessions for NWCS senior portraits will be held June 20th and 21st.

Are there too many cameras at weddings these days? It has become nearly impossible to get a shot that includes guests properly witnessing a special moment - just outstretched arms holding cameras, staring at LCD screens. We never interfere ourselves - with the exception of the dreaded "shadow shooter" that follows us around - but some brides and grooms may want to encourage guests to enjoy the moment and let us have all the fun do the work.
